Mission

Provide leadership, training and support in the design, development, delivery and assessment of instruction through online and other distance learning technologies.

Goals

• Promote and coordinate institutional distance learning activities and services.
• Identify and utilize effective learning and delivery strategies appropriate for course objectives, faculty teaching and communication strengths, and student learning and life styles.
• Provide consultation, training, and support to faculty engaged in online instruction.
• Promote principles of effective instruction and good practice in distance learning contexts.
• Develop policies and procedures for distance learning contexts.
